Hear From Our Team

Gabe – CNC Operator / Toolroom Machinist
Hired as Deburr/Helper | With A.C.E. 2.5 years
“I wasn’t really a fan of school, so I had no plans for attending college.”
“I didn’t really think that I could have a career without going to college. I was hired here at A.C.E. as an entry level employee. I was asked if I would be interested in training to become a machinist for our manufacturing department. I thought that would be a great opportunity for me to advance my training and accepted that offer immediately.”
“I really like to see the finished product after it has been completely machined.”
Advice to others: “Take advantage of any hands-on training offered and do the best job you can do.”
Mason – Level 8 Assembler
Hired as Entry Level 6 Assembler | With A.C.E. 2.5 years
“If you don’t have the time to do it once, you definitely don’t have the time to do it twice!”
Mason started at A.C.E. after working at Lowe’s and a trucking company. In under a year, he was completing Hydraulics and Blueprint Reading training, advancing quickly into team leadership. He has since received training in inspection, welding, rigging, and assembly of large OEM equipment.
Advice to graduates: “Find an industry that interests you and stick to it! You don’t have to stick to a job but stay within the industry until you find your place.”

Candy – Aftermarket Senior Parts Buyer
Hired as Draftsperson | With A.C.E. 32 years
“My Mom always taught me that money isn’t everything! Life is short, and work is only a fraction of our lives. So, whatever you choose to do, make sure it is something you will enjoy doing, at a company that respects its team members, and where the team members respect each other. A job with little to no enjoyment is truly LABOR. But a job that is engaging and fulfilling with people you can call friends, could hardly be considered work at all.”
Candy began with a background in mechanical and electrical drafting and has grown into a leadership role in parts procurement, thanks to hands-on learning and mentorship.
