Mechanical Forging Presses
Ajax/CECO/Erie Press Mechanical Forging Presses include back-shafted and direct-drive machines as well as the advanced MN Series press. Press designs can be modified to meet your work requirements with higher torque, variable stroke speed and longer forging and ejector strokes. Our MN Series presses were developed in 1998 and are rated in mega-Newtons. These precision presses feature higher stroking rates, wider Pitman, and a stiffer frame to improve process control and precision, provide closer tolerances and more consistent forgings, and simplify maintenance.
