Solid Frame Strength Meets Precision Hydraulic Control
This hydraulic die forger hammer uses stored hydraulic energy to deliver a controlled strike for closed-die forging. Available in multiple sizes and blow-energy capacities up to 118,000 ft/lbs, the SFDF can be configured to meet a range of application and production requirements. As part of the Ajax/CECO/Erie

Built From Cast Steel or Classic Ceco Design
Each SFDF frame is a single U-shaped casting or a 3-piece Ceco design, built with extra-wide radial guides for lateral stability under impact.
Guide clearance and die capacity scale by size, so smaller units suit tight spaces and larger units handle wider dies.
- Guide clearance is 19.7 inches on the smallest size and 37.8 inches on the largest
- Guides secure at three mounting points to stop bolts from working loose under repeated strikes
- Maximum die width is 15 inches on the smallest size and nearly 32 inches on the largest
